Fun at Seaworld!

Last Sunday, Lewis and I went to Seaworld with our friends Summer and Brandon and we had fun taking photos. I took portraits for Summer and Brandon for them to use for their Christmas cards and Lewis and I were able to get some really great images too. It was an excellent picture day all around! We had a really fun time and my favorite part of the day was feeding the dolphins.

Here's one of their portraits below, and you can also click here to view the slideshow of their portrait session.

Colonial Senior Night vs. Olympia

This was Colonial's last game of the season. It was a lot of fun to shoot and I got some really great images from that night. I've really enjoyed shooting the games this season and I hope to have the opportunity to do it again. Thanks for a great season guys!
Below are a couple photos of my favorite player, Bryant. The first one is with me and the second is with his brother, my boyfriend, Lewis.

Colonial Football vs. Winter Park

This game was difficult to shoot under the conditions of the evening. They delayed the game for about an hour due to pouring rain and heavy lightning and then even after the guys started playing, the rain just wouldn’t quit. My wonderful and faithful assistant (and boyfriend) Lewis followed me around the whole night with an umbrella. Needless to say, it was hard to shoot a lot of photos that night, but I still think I managed to get a few good ones. Enjoy.

Colonial Homecoming vs. Freedom

This was really a fun night to shoot. Between the packed crowd and the halftime festivities, the night was just nonstop. Memories were made and fun times were shared by all as Colonial celebrated their Homecoming game. Reminds me of the fun times I had when I was in high school. Here are some of my favorite images from my old alma mater.

Colonial Boot Game vs. University

On September 21, Colonial played their rivals University for the big boot game. This is a fun tradition between the two schools that has been around ever since University was first built to as an over flow school for Colonial. Here are a few of the pictures I was able to capture from the sidelines:

Colonial Football Kickoff Classic vs. Titusville

This past Friday night I had the privilege of shooting Colonial High School's first football game of the season versus the Titusville Terriers. The game was delayed about an hour due to rain, but I was still able to get some great shots! Many thanks to my assistant and umbrella holder Lewis! I'm looking forward to going to the games this season and shooting all the home games. If you see me on the sidelines be sure to say hello! Below are some of my favorite images from Friday.

En Pointe

Last week I was able to take photos of my friend Jamie from ballet in her pointe shoes. She's an amazing dancer and it's been great getting to know her this semester. Here are some of my favorite images.

Baldwin Park

Lewis and our friend Chris were good sports for me to practice a groom session. There was supposed to be another guy there too but he couldn't make it so instead some pictures turned out looking a little stalkerish.

This is one of my favorites from the day. And I think it's one of the best pictures I've ever taken of Lewis.

This is his "Tommy Hilfiger" look.

At the end of the day, I turned the camera over to Chris and he actually got a few nice shots of us. This one's my favorite.

I promise wedding pictures will go up soon. I'm just waiting to get my images back. Stay tuned! :)
These are two great women that work in my office, Fidela and her daughter Liz. Fidela is getting married in August to a great guy, Steve and I am lucky enough to be shooting their wedding. Check back later for their engagement session. Here are some impromtu shots I took at the office one day.

Karli

She's only the cutest baby in the whole wide world...with the loudest scream. But I love her to death.

DeLeon Spring Break

I took a day off from work over spring break and my boyfriend Lewis and I went to DeLeon Springs. It was a great day and we had a lot of fun. I also was able to take a bunch of photos out there. These are my favorites from the day.

This is me.

Welcome!

While this is not my first blog, it is the first one that I am attempting to post photos on. Cross your fingers that I can figure out how to make it work.
Hi. My name is Lora Roney and I am a photographer. I have always loved taking pictures and just this year I have become serious about becoming a professional. On this blog, I will post my work like portrait sessions, sports and weddings that I shoot with the most incredible Mike Buoy, Joe Daylor and Jason Cannon. These wonderful guys have taken me under their wings and are teaching me the ins and outs of the wedding photography field. Many thanks guys! I love working with you.

So, please check back here frequently and hopefully I will actually have images up soon! And, if you like what you see, contact me to take your pictures!
